The first place in the ranking of brokerage firms active in the Greek market, both Greek and foreign, was maintained by Piraeus AEPY in June, with a market share that reached 26.4%, while the company was first throughout the first half of the year, with a share 24.4%.
According to the data of the Athens Stock Exchange, the cumulative value of the company’s transactions in the previous month amounted to 769.14 million euros. In second place was Eurobank Equities with a share of 16.4% and in third place, Ethniki Chrimatistiraki, with a market share of 11%.
In the January-June semester, Piraeus AEPY also had the first place, with a cumulative transaction value of 5.25 billion euros, with Eurobank Equities following with a market share of 17.3% and Euroxx Exchange with 12.1%.
Piraeus AEPY leads the market, occupying the first position for the last three years and with a steady increase in shares from 10% in 2017. In 2021, the company had transacted more than 7 billion euros and had a market share of more than 20%, remaining the main choice of private and institutional investors from Greece and abroad for their transactions on the Athens Stock Exchange.
