Inauguration for the new facilities of VIANEX in Gerakas

With a special event, the new facilities of the VIANEX Group in Gerakas were inaugurated on Tuesday, June 28, by Mr. Dimitris Giannakopoulos, Chairman of the Board. and Managing Director of the VIANEX Group, and in the presence of Messrs. Adonis Georgiadis, Minister of Development and Investment and Thanos Plevris, Minister of Health.

Against the current of business introversion and despite the challenges, the VIANEX Group continues to make steady growth steps and invest in Greece, strengthening both its positive footprint in the Greek economy and society, but also expanding its portfolio. The investment in the new facilities of the Group in Gerakas amounting to 10 million euros comes to give new dynamics to the companies VIANEX and VIAN and to the products that are distributed to the growing network of partners. It is typically noted that the new facilities have warehouses with a total area of ​​about 9,000 sq.m., and a capacity of up to 10,000 product pallets, while about 500 codes are packaged and stored and prepared for distribution in 5,750 pharmacies throughout Greece. It is estimated that annually the orders to the network of pharmacies will reach 60,000.

The new facilities also have an EOF Labeling Department with five labeling lines, educational spaces and several auxiliary spaces, but also comfortable, new offices and outdoor gardens, offering an excellent environment to their 225 employees.
