Instagram tests the “Exclusive Stories” reserved for subscribed followers

An exciting new feature that would allow creators to increase revenue could debut very soon. In fact, according to TechCrunch, awaiting the launch of the Twitter project baptized with the name Super Follows, also Instagram would be developing a solution designed to deliver content reserved exclusively for subscribed users to a certain profile.

Note at the moment how «Exclusive Stories», the novelty identified by the developer Alessandro Paluzzi and disseminated through some tweet, will allow us to publish stories that can only be viewed by followers who have activated a paid subscription to watch our content: a purple badge with a white star will distinguish the exclusive stories from traditional ones and a banner will be shown when a story is reserved for registered members.

The button Subscribe – which could be translated into Subscribe – would appear in the profiles of users who have a fan club also, to prevent the dissemination of specific content to non-subscribers, it would be disabled the ability to take a screenshot when displaying a exclusive story: however, the creator will be able to highlight it but always and only for registered followers.

According to the source, the team of Instagram did not share any details about this novelty which, in the worst case scenario, could never even arrive inside our devices: in the meantime, however, the sticker could be released for add links in Stories as an alternative to the swipe up to date it can only be activated from verified profiles or with more than 10 thousand followers.
