A 16-year-old student in Iran, Arezo Khavari, killed herself after being threatened with expulsion from school for being filmed dancing without wearing a hijab. The shocking news comes days after the case of the Iranian student who left in her underwear to protest, was arrested and brutally beaten. The last moments of the 16-year-old are captured in a photo in which she is said to be herself on the edge of a building just before plunging into space. During a school field trip Tuesday, the vice principal reprimanded Arezo for her attire. She was wearing jeans that day and briefly removed her headscarf while playing with her classmates, an act the vice principal disapproved of.
