It went wrong: TikTok filter inspired by Shakira’s song goes viral for a hilarious reason

After Shakira’s commented collaboration with producer and musician Bizarrap, who had hints at her ex-husband Gerard Piqué, TikTok users asked digital influencer Yisus Saavedra to make a filter that imitated the effect of the official video.

In Shakira’s version, she sings the song “Shakira || Bzrp Music Sessions 53” to the microphone with a blue light and in some moments there is a paper effect.

The Mexican content creator calls himself the “god of filters”, but augmented reality didn’t work for all users. By the time they turn into “paper”, several TikTokers have become “deformed”.

The expectation was to feel like Shakira, but the reality was different! The result has many people laughing in the comments; check out some examples:

Indirect to Piqué’s betrayals
The song “Shakira || Bzrp Music Sessions 53”, in collaboration with the producer and musician Bizarrap, ended up drawing attention due to the singer Shakira’s outburst about the actions of her ex-husband and soccer player Gerard Piqué. The song, which was released on January 12 , has lyrics with messages like “I’m worth two of 22 [anos]” and “you traded a Rolex watch for a Casio”. The theory is that the Colombian would be referring to Clara Martí, a 23-year-old who assumed a relationship with Piquet last year. Shakira and Piqué confirmed their separation in June 2022, after 11 years together.
