Italy is considering “putting aside” 110 million euros to donate to Ukraine in support of the risk it faces from Russia and the financial costs it has been paying due to the recent unrest, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi said. Di Maio in the country’s parliament on Wednesday, according to Reuters.
Mr Mayo said the move would be aimed at boosting “the Ukrainian population and economy in areas agreed with the Kiev authorities”.
The Italian foreign minister also said that Italy would work to reduce “as much as possible” the impact on its economy and strategic interests from possible sanctions against Russia by the West.
