Jacques and Gabriella of Monaco, a tree for mother Charlène

A few days before the National Day of the Principality of Monaco, a new public commitment for the twins Jacques and Gabriella, son of Alberto II e Charlène Wittstock. Nothing tiring, of course, just a morning in the open air, together with a group of peers, for the planting of a Jacaranda tree, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the non-profit organization Soroptimist International, which defends the rights of girls and women and promotes gender equality.

The choice of the tree, originally from South Africa, was a beautiful tribute to Princess Charlène, recovering after the last months spent in her country of origin, blocked by an ENT infection that put a strain on her body.

“She was unable to eat solid food for over six months due to all the surgeries she went through, she only took liquid through a straw, so she lost almost half her body weight,” she revealed a few days ago. a source close to the princess a Page Six, not hiding the perplexities towards the Grimaldi family: “It is not right that Charlène is portrayed as having some kind of mental or emotional problem, we don’t know why the Palace is minimizing the fact that she is almost dead in South Africa. “

During her illness, the former swimmer missed her husband and children a lot, and today they are forced once again to have her away. And the sad expressions of the twins tell all the nostalgia for Charlène, who would be in a Swiss clinic, even if this indiscretion has never been confirmed by Palazzo.

“The children are not well”, confirmed a Monaco Morning Prince Albert, “They’ve been suffering from their mother’s absence all these months and having to say goodbye to her again is painful for them, who are still small. But we have always been a united family and, even if no one can take the place of their mother, we try not to let them lack all the love they deserve and need ».

During the Principality party, the children showed their drawings from the balcony with two very tender messages: “We miss you mom” and “We love you mom.” In a few days, on December 10, they will celebrate seven years: the best gift this year will be going to their mother.
