Mother of twins Max and Emme, from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony Jennifer reported that a therapist once asked her how she would handle an abusive situation if the victim was her daughter.

“It was so clear. I would tell her to get out of here and never look back, but for me, it was so nebulous and complicated. It was like looking through the fog,” she said.

Although she emphasized that she was never a victim of domestic violence, the star stated that she had already been pushed.

“Being played around and treated like that is not fun. I mean, I've never been in a relationship where I've been hit, thank God, but I've definitely been violently handled and been in some other unpleasant situations,” J-Lo said.
