After four years of separation between the couple, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, filed for divorce from the Spiderman actor Tobey Maguire, in Los Angeles on Friday Oct. 30. According to People, Meyer decided to officially end the marriage on Friday. After their split back in 2016, it was reported by a source that it had been a while since the couple had been living separate lives.
The source said, “They have completely different interests and haven’t seemed to be connecting,” the source had said at the time. He’s extremely private and prefers to stay home, and she’s very social and has tons of girlfriends. They haven’t been happy together for a long time, but they are great parents and they love their children.”
Both tied the knot back in 2007, and had been married for 9 years. The ex-couple share two children: son Otis, 7 and daughter Ruby, 9. The ex-couple believed in friendly co-parenting and hence remained friends during their period of separation.
However, after their separation, both did not take much long to reenter the dating world, as for now Tobey Maguire is dating model Tatiana Dieteman, whereas Meyer is in a serious relationship with Sports Group founder, Rich Paul.
