Actor Jeremy Renner said Tuesday that he returned from the hospital more than two weeks after he was crushed in a snowmobile accident.

The Marvel star had been hospitalized since New Year’s Day, when he was injured by the vehicle while cleaning a driveway near his Nevada home, leaving him with “blunt force trauma to the chest and orthopedic injuries,” his publicist told the outlet. CNN .

During his long stay, Renner underwent two surgeries and was treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

A 911 call log obtained by CNN says Renner was “completely crushed under a large snowcat [veículo]” and that he has “extreme [dificuldade] to breath”. The record even points out that “the right side of the chest is collapsed – the upper torso is crushed”.

Renner’s snowcat, a motor-powered machine used to clear snow, began rolling while the actor was not in the driver’s seat, Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said earlier.
