Johnny Depp on trial: the accusations of Amber Heard, drugs and the severed finger

The $ 100 million legal battle between Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard continues with no holds barred. In these days, the interrogations of the parties in question are underway and unpublished declarations are multiplying.

The actor de The Pirates of the Caribbean confessed to taking drugs with famous friends such as Paul Bettany and Marilyn Manson. In some messages she defines them as her “monster” and then jokes about killing the woman in an exchange of messages with the colleague of WandaVision. One reads: «Let’s drown it before setting it on fire !!! Then I’ll have sex with her burned corpse to make sure she’s really dead. ‘ And Bettany replies: “I think exactly the same as you do. Better be sure before proclaiming her a witch ».

At the time, according to Depp’s statements, the woman would have always sabotaged her partner’s attempts at sobriety, pushing him to use drugs and alcohol.

Just in these days Depp has declared that he is used to black humor but at the same time that he is embarrassed by these exchanges that The Sun he announced (the actor lost the lawsuit against the British tabloid which called him “wifes hitter”). The artist’s appeal was rejected in March 2021, but in the meantime in 2016 he finalized the divorce from the actress.

Due to the legal situation, Depp was fired from the set of Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets, a few days in the room, and then replaced by Mads Mikkelsen. The franchise is from Warner Bros. but the studio has not applied the same behavior towards Amber Heard, who instead has been confirmed for the sequel to Aquaman.

This second week of hearings in Virginia, however, continues between videos and rather explicit images on the relationship between the former spouses. In an audio recording, Heard begs Depp not to harm himself, while threatening to cut himself with a knife. In another clip, the actor is seen smashing the kitchen doors.

Meanwhile, the actor accused his ex-wife of ruining his career and for this he abandoned the sixth chapter as Captain Jack Sparrow just days after Heard’s first statements, followed by a restraining order in 2016.

But since, according to Depp, his image is still used in parks and merchandising, the lady’s lawyer asked him if he would return to the franchise if the production company offered 300 million plus a million alpacas. The actor’s response was firm and negative.

The process should take about six weeks in total and, after Depp’s statements, it will be Heard’s turn. Outside the classroom, both offer casual smiles to onlookers and photographers.
