Jojo Todynho intends to adopt a boy he met in Angola: “He’s my son”

On Monday afternoon (11), singer Jojo Todynho shared with fans her desire to adopt a boy she met in Luanda, the capital of Angola, during a recent trip.

According to the artist, the first contact between them happened during a tribute she received at the place and, right away, she fell in love. Jojo also reinforced that, despite the legal procedures, she is excited to bring him to Brazil.

“I went for a purpose which was intercollegiate, which ended up being postponed, but the purpose was much better than I imagined. I got there and was invited to participate in an action. They invited me to be godmother because they follow my social actions in Brazil and I made a donation to them as a gift. You know I don’t do shows anymore, but I was asked a lot and I participated in an event ‘A Fazenda’, in Benguela, and ‘Pancadão’, which is in Luanda […] And now you will see me go to Angola a lot, because I was called to do a very beautiful project”, he began.

Afterwards, the singer spoke about some places she visited, including a school, where she donated teaching materials and received the honor.

“The boy who came to honor me was F…. I was so excited looking at other kids that I didn’t pay attention because he was reading with his back to me. When the teacher picked him up and placed him in front of me, it was surreal. I looked at him and said: ‘This boy is my son’. His eyes sparkled when he spoke to me. It was a different connection, there is no explanation,” he said.

The artist said that, when asking his name, she said she would take him away and received “I’m leaving with you” as the boy’s response.

“José, who is the president of the institution, will contact the family to see if we can carry out the adoption process, because I want to bring him here. He has a whole process. I will pray and pray that the family will accept me taking him away,” he explained.

Elsewhere, Jojo commented how important it is to have someone who looks at you with affection. “We need to be seen, as I have often been seen. One look changes everything. I only knew how to cry people,” he said.

“He will be my son. I’m going to give him an opportunity for a better education, a better life. I’m not saying he doesn’t receive love and affection from his family, but he will also receive a lot of love and affection here from my family and friends,” she added emotionally.

Finally, the singer reinforced that she is very hopeful about the possibility of officially becoming the little one’s mother.

“It was love at first sight. I had Glória Maria’s story in my head. I will find a way, if the family allows me to bring him here, that I can continue helping his family there. But now, it’s time to pray, let things happen. I’m very hopeful. I know he will become a great man”, she concluded.
