Julian Assange: US agrees to serve any sentence imposed on Australia

The USA assured her Britain that if he agrees to extradite him Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, he will be able to serve any sentence imposed by a US court on Australia, where he comes from, according to an official document.

Washington has appealed against a British court decision not to extradite Assange to the United States as there is a risk of attempting suicide, according to the APE-MPE.

“The United States has assured us that it will agree to Assange be transferred to Australia to serve any sentence imposed on him,” said a document filed in the High Court in London by US government lawyers.

It is noted that from today, Wednesday (27/10) British justice to consider US authorities’ refusal to extradite him.
