As he said, the budget of the measure of withdrawal of electrical appliances is 150 million euros and together with the participation of the beneficiaries it will reach 300 million euros. The subsidy will range from 35% -50% and 380,000 devices will be able to be replaced.
“A house can replace one to three appliances, but it can not get two refrigerators or two freezers, but it can get two air conditioners. The goal is to reduce the electricity bill by 30%,” he said.
He added that the government has set social criteria for the beneficiaries, emphasizing that they are preceded by families with a disabled member, large families and low-income families.
In terms of the process it is very simple.
According to Mr. Skrekas, the consumer will be able to submit his application either to gov.gr or to the store that sells the devices, giving his name, his TIN, the supply number and stating which or which devices he wants to replace.
