KARD: meet the k-pop group that covered Luiza Sonza’s “Sentadona”

K-pop group KARD went viral on social media singing the remix of “sitting”, by Luísa Sonza, Davi Kneip, Mc Frog and Dj Gabriel do Borel. The members who sang a snippet of the hit are J.Seph and Somin, but the group has two more members: BM and Jiwoo. Yes, they are a mixed group, which is not common in K-Pop.

If you discovered KARD because of the Sentadona cover, know that they have already made other versions of Brazilian songs, such as “Sim ou Não”, by Anitta and Maluma, on the 2017 tour, and “Pesadão”, by Iza, in 2019 .

KARD explores different rhythms and combines them with lyrics that convey messages, whether playful or more reflective. The latest comeback, “Ring The Alarm”, from the mini-album “Re”, is perfect to give any playlist a boost.

As if the powerful vocals weren’t enough, the group also has mesmerizing choreography, which always values ​​all the members. One of the favorites of the Hidden KARD (as the fans are called) is Bomb Bomb.

Having many international fans, especially in Latin America, in July they played shows in São Paulo and Curitiba, as well as fansigns in Rio de Janeiro and Brasília.
