The actress Kate Hudson 45, went viral after recreating the scene from “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”, film starring her in 2003. With a video on TikTok, she remade a scene that takes place in a game and has, to date, received more than 12 million views.
In the scene, her character, Andie Anderson, asks Benjamin Barry (played by Matthew McConaughey) to get her a soda in the final moments of a tense New York Knicks basketball game.
“Can you get a soda?” asks the friend she went to a baseball game with. “No”, responds to her colleague, who is focused on the competition.
“No, can you go get me a soda?” Hudson insists, just like in the movie. “Right now?” replies the friend, recreating McConaughey’s role. “Yes, like right now”, finishes Kate Hudson, smiling.
In the plot, publicist Ben bets his boss that he can make any woman fall in love with him in ten days. At the same time, journalist Andi is determined to make life hell for any man she approaches for a story. The two end up bumping into each other in a bar and choose each other as the target of their plans.
Despite being released more than 20 years ago, the romantic comedy is still very popular with the public and in July, Kate Hudson even talked about a possible continuation of the plot.
“I think we are always thinking about it . All that matters would be the script and whether Matthew and I would be in the script”, commented the actress, in an interview on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live program.
