KIA unveils stylish K8 sedan: the company’s first car with a new logo

Today, March 23rd, Kia representatives officially revealed the large enough K8 sedan, which is the brand’s first car to receive the new logo. In addition, the automaker has delighted its fans with a new body design that instantly attracts attention. For example, on the front of the car you can see a stylish radiator grille of impressive size, there are also unusual “foglights” in the form of segments of rhombuses, and the headlights are made in a horizontal format with an elongated shape. In the same place, but already on the hood, you can see the updated Kia logo.

In addition to the design of the front panel, it is worth paying attention to the rear, often new items – there you can see quite stylish lamps made in the form of a solid strip passing through the fifth door. However, in addition to the design, the manufacturer also pleased potential buyers with a decent set of trim levels – in the basic version, the motorist will receive a turbocharged 1.6-liter version of the T-GDI, but there is also a more powerful version on a 2.5-liter engine with 198 horsepower. And the top-end configuration offers a 3.5-liter Smartstream engine that runs on either gasoline or gas. True, the gasoline version is more powerful – 300 horsepower versus 240 for the “gas” analogue.

Moreover, in the top-end configuration, the car received four-wheel drive, while the base and intermediate engine options are supplied with front-wheel drive. And Kia engineers took care of the interior – inside the car there is a 12-inch dashboard screen and a diagonally similar multimedia display. And there is also a 12-inch head-up display, which on the windshield will display the speed of the car, data from the navigator, various signals, and so on. Unfortunately, for now, the new Kia K8 will only be sold in South Korea – from April 2021. Later, the novelty will go to other regions – the sales of the sedan in Russia have not yet been reported.
