King Charles hands Prince William a military title he had promised Harry

King Charles today, Monday, presented his son Prince William with the title of honorary captain of the country's Army Air Corps, an honorary title that he appears to have promised his second son Harry at one point during the during a visit to a military base, which also marks a rare father-son joint appearance. The British monarch, who was diagnosed with cancer in February and is undergoing treatment, took the occasion to meet military personnel and their families along with the heir to the throne at Middle Wallop Airport in Hampshire. “I would like to share with you my great joy in being with you, albeit for a short time, a joy mixed with great sadness after 32 years spent with you and admiring your many successes,” the king said.
