O King Charles III , from the United Kingdom, fumed with a pen while signing documents on Tuesday (13). “I hate it,” said the new British monarch.
Charles was in Northern Ireland, accompanied by his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, when, while signing some papers, he expressed impatience after the pen got ink on his hand.
Initially, Charles would ask the surrounding team what the right date to put in the signature.
“I just have to fill it in…is it the 12th of September?” asks Charles, and a man replies: “It’s the 13th, sir”.
“Oh God, did I get the date wrong, 13? Oh God, I hate this,” says Charles after having trouble with his pen.

King Charles III in Northern Ireland
King Charles III and his wife Camilla, the queen consort, traveled to Northern Ireland on Tuesday.
This is Charles’ first trip to Northern Ireland as the UK’s new monarch, following in the footsteps of his mother, who was seen as a symbol of unity and was an important figure during the Northern Ireland peace process.
Tuesday’s historic visit saw the king arrive at the royal residence, Hillsborough Castle, where he greeted the public and looked at floral tributes. There he met with Northern Ireland’s Secretary of State Chris Heaton-Harris and the leaders of Northern Ireland’s major political parties.
