“La Caserma”, the last episode of the Rai show (with Elettra Lamborghini)

No winner, no loser. The Barracks, in his final episode, he decided not to crown a single boy, one of the twenty-one who left home to live the obligations and duties of the military conscription. The Rai docureality, one last episode aired on Wednesday prime time, he wanted to keep intact the profound meaning of his experiment, denying, even in its final act, any individualism. The five professional instructors, together with the head instructor, Renato Daretti, will decide which of the two cadet teams alone will be the best. Then, they will let the boys find themselves one last time, protagonists of a game which Elettra Lamborghini, she too, wanted to be part.

The heiress was called to perform in the common areas of the Trentino barracks, giving the RAI cadets an evening of music and entertainment. They will sing, they will dance. Then, they will make the bed, as the instructors have taught them, with the cube method. They will close their lockers, put down their uniforms, black hats and, each with their own suitcase, go home. And they will come back different, in a moment of which The Barracks will give account. At the end of the show’s final episode, the families of the twenty-one boys will tell if and how much their children have changed.
