Netflix fulfilled the dream of all lovers of Bridgerton, as the platform has announced that the story of Daphne and her brothers will continue in a third and fourth season.
The news has shocked everyone considering that the second season just started the pre-production stage. However, fans of Julia Quinn’s novels know that there is still so much drama, passion and tangles to tell.
The series premiered last December and tells the story of the Bridgertons, a wealthy family during London’s Regency era, as they each deal with the love and gossip spread by the mysterious Lady Whistledown.
The first installment was about the romance between the young and innocent Daphne Bridgerton and the handsome and mysterious Simon, Duke of Hastings. While we all love the chemistry and hot scenes of these characters, their story has come to an end.
True to the novels on which it is based, each season will focus on a different Bridgerton, so now it is the turn of Anthony, the best of all the brothers, as he searches for a new suitor to marry.
We are still heartbroken knowing that we will not see Simon again, at least not in the following season. But with this new announcement, there is still hope to enjoy it in the third or fourth season. Dreaming is worth it, right?
