A large fire hit one of the pavilions at the Paraná Supply Center (Ceasa-PR) on Thursday night (6). The flames have already been fought.
According to the Paraná Fire Department, the team was called around 10pm to respond to the incident.
The flames reached around two thousand square meters of the site, a number that represents half of the total area of the Supply Center, which was destroyed. According to the Fire Department, the fire started in a stall that sells coconuts.
One of the witnesses who was at the scene this Friday morning (7) reported that at least 20 Ceasa companies were hit and are at risk of collapsing. “It is immense damage. There’s still a lot of smoke,” the witness told CNN .
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and firefighters have already managed to contain the flames at the scene. There were no records of victims.
