A comparison table of e-books has been available for some time on the Canadian and Mexican Amazon sites, including the Kindle Paperwhite models that are not available for sale. This makes it safe to assume that Amazon is preparing them for release.
The new Kindle Paperwhite and Paperwhite Signature Edition devices feature 6.8-inch, 300ppi, 17-LED backlit displays. For comparison: the current model has a 6-inch display with 4 LEDs. An interesting feature of the new models is the ability to adjust or select the color temperature of the backlight. Previously, only the Amazon Kindle Oasis model could boast of this function.
The Signature Edition boasts an increased storage capacity of 32GB, wireless charging support, and a light sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness.
