It is not common to see the two royals together, but the arrival of the Hashemite sovereigns on Spanish soil in view, among others, of the meeting with Pedro Sanchez and King Felipe, has allowed the two sovereigns to unite their agendas. Impeccable as always, both hit the fashion mark, each with its own distinctive style, but, perhaps unknowingly, in many respects also very similar.

Letizia has in fact opted for a sinuous midi dress with a typically spring floral print signed Diego Estrada. The shades of pink – from the softest to fuchsia – have been taken up by the shoes, a pair of very elegant slingbacks with stiletto heels by the brand Caroline Herrera. To top it all off, a powder pink clutch bag and the precious touch of a pair of star-shaped and flower-shaped earrings from the Spanish brand Gold&Roses.

More rigorous Rania of Jordanwho chose a ensembles branded Dior, consisting of pencil skirt and top. A look that overall recalls the same line of Letizia’s dress, but declined in a dark tone, embellished with an embroidery of butterflies and flowers to mark the waist and other decorations on the neckline. The touch of color came from the shoes, a pair of Manolo Blahnik burgundy with pink stripes and a blush-colored shoulder bag – just like the Spanish sovereign -, but with a designer Fendi.
