Shining with your own light has never been so real and concrete. Thanks to Light Up, the designer jacket WRÅD equipped with photoluminescent technology, in fact, radiating brightness with style has never been so trendy. The futuristic project, born in collaboration with Pulsee, a brand of electricity and gas from renewable sources alone, together with Vogue Talents, condensation innovation, aesthetics and functionality.
Original motion graphics composed by the artist and physicist Dave Whyte give life to three graphic designs which, equipped with photoluminescent technology, find space inside the outerwear. There Insert graphics absorb UV rays during the day and radiate them at night. But not only. Light Up is also a environmentally and socially responsible project. For its entirely Italian creation, WRÅD has in fact recovered 400 meters of fabrics from the historic Manteco company, 3200 meters of tapes from the NastriTessuti company and 1000 g of photoluminescent pigments from the LuceDentro company, thanks to the partnership with the company Alisea Recycled and Reused Objects Design. A beautiful and good jacket, therefore, which wants to be the first step in the research and study of the potential of photoluminescence for the world of clothing.

The garment will be produced in a limited edition and will be on sale exclusively at Frame Condé Nast Experience Store, in Piazzale Luigi Cadorna 7 in Milan. The entire proceeds from the sale of the jacket will be donated to Save the Planet ONLUS, non-profit that aims to reduce the environmental impact of people, institutions and companies.
