Airspace restrictions are in effect on London until the evening of Monday, September 19, when the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will be held at Westminster Abbey.
Aircraft are banned below a certain altitude (2,500 feet above sea level) in central London, the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority said.
The restrictions also apply to all flying drones, he said.
Funeral
This Tuesday (13), the coffin leaves St Giles Cathedral and will be taken to Buckingham Palace before arriving at Westminster Hall, where the queen’s body will remain until the morning of her funeral.
After the funeral, the coffin will again be carried in procession from Westminster Abbey to Wellington Arch. From there he will travel to Windsor. Once at the site, the hearse will travel to St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, where the burial will take place.
