The singer ludmilla declined an invitation to participate in the official music of the 2022 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in November. The information was confirmed by the artist this Friday (23).
Through social networks, Ludmilla stated that she received an invitation to sing the theme song for the World Cup, but, according to the singer, the invitation had to be declined because she already had a commitment made with another partner.
“I was invited to do it but I had already made a commitment to another partner and that’s why I couldn’t”, wrote Ludmilla.

On social media, netizens commented on the possibility that the singer had refused the invitation due to the fact that Qatar is a country with little progress in humanitarian issues – specifically with regard to anti-homosexuality laws.
