“Once again we have managed to make explicit reference to Turkey in the draft conclusions of the European Council, in view of the June 23-24 Summit,” said Deputy Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, who attended the General Affairs Council in Luxembourg.
In a Twitter post, he noted that “the Council calls on Ankara to respect the sovereignty & territorial integrity of all countries and expresses its deep concern at Turkey’s repeated recent actions & statements.”
