The Minister of Interior, Makis Voridis, paid a visit to the Technological Cultural Park of Lavrio (TPPL) and talked with the Mayor of Lavreotiki, Dimitris Loukas and local officials about the prospects for development and promotion of the area as well as the maintenance of existing infrastructure.
Mr. Voridis toured the facilities of the Park accompanied by the rector of the National Technical University of Athens, Andreas Boudouvis and the director of TPPL, Asimaki Hadoumellis and visited the laboratory for the synthesis, processing and characterization of nanomaterials maintained at the Park. Finally, the Minister visited the premises of the company NanoPhos and talked with the CEO, Dr. Ioannis Arabatzis on the dynamics of promoting innovative Greek products in the fields of construction, shipping, industry and renewable energy sources.
