“Just vapo, badass vapo.” The song “Malvadão 3”, by rapper Xamã, was the most listened to song on Spotify in the first half of this year.
Driven by social networks, the artist from Rio de Janeiro managed to surpass the success of Sertanejo in the country.
A relevant part of the numbers achieved by “Malvadão 3” came from the virality of the song on TikTok and Instagram.
Until this Tuesday (12), there are already more than 592 thousand “reels” produced on Instagram and more than 2 million videos on TikTok using background music.
Of the five most listened to songs in the first semester on Spotify, in addition to Xamã, only DJ Pedro Sampaio, with “Dançarina”, is not a sertanejo artist. See the top 5 below.
