Man arrested in US accused of robbing store with Nintendo video game gun

A man has been arrested in South Carolina, in the United States, accused of robbing a convenience store using a fake gun, designed for a Nintendo video game.

David Joseph Dalesandro, 25, robbed a store in Sharon, a town in northwestern South Carolina, using a pistol from the “Duck Hunt” game, the York County Sheriff’s Office said.

Witnesses told officers that a person entered the store on May 30 wearing a wig, hooded sweatshirt and a mask. That person showed the clerk the fake gun in his waistband and demanded about $300 off the register, officials said.
