This year the brand shuts down its first 50 candles and celebrate the milestone with the sparkling capsule Gold Collection, but also with one interactive exhibition, accessible to all, curated together with fashion and exhibition expert Judith Clark. Blahnik’s goal was precisely to create a space where everyone could feel inspired by his creations. “It is very important to me that even those who cannot buy my shoes are able to have a certain connection with Manolo Blahnik. The exhibition A New Way of Walking offers this, ”said the designer. The beginning of a journey – divided into five interactive rooms that highlight crucial moments in the history of the brand, also through the sketches and the creative flair of the designer: Palette, The Seventies, Friendships, Gold e Family – which will be continuously expanding over the next few years.

Among the most famous models by Manolo Blahnik are the low-cut Which one, those in electric blue satin, characterized by a jewel brooch, chosen by Carrie Bradshaw as an engagement ring for the wedding with Mr. Big. But among the great classics of the brand there are also le pump BB, inspired by Brigitte Bardot and loved by Lady Diana and Meghan Markle, and sandals Chaos, appreciated by Melania Trump, and le mule custom-made per Anna Wintour (the director of Vogue America wears only this specific model).
