Margot Robbie is pregnant: first child on the way

Margot Robbie will soon be a mother. The Barbie star actress and her husband Tom Ackerley are expecting their first child. No official announcement has come from the parties directly involved: a few shots of the couple published by Daily Mail and arrived from Lake Como, where the two are on holiday.

Her exposed belly left little doubt about her impending pregnancy, later confirmed to the American press by several sources close to the actress. Robbie’s last public appearance was last March, on the Oscars red carpet. The actress had shown off a little black dress that didn’t give away her pregnancy, although in hindsight the ruffle positioned right on her belly seems decidedly strategic to hide the first signs of pregnancy.

It is not certain that I will hear any statements from the actress and her husband, given that they have always been very discreet about their private life. Both 34 years old, they met for the first time in 2013, on the set of French Suite, where she played the role of Céline and he was assistant director. Today Ackerley has abandoned her directorial ambitions to work as a producer, she is an undisputed star, also thanks to the success of Barbie, also produced by her husband.

Three years passed from their first meeting to their wedding. The couple got married in Australia in December 2016. A secret ceremony, in front of very few people. Today they are a consolidated couple in their private life and at work. «We spend 24 hours a day together», he said last month to Sunday Times, “There is no discontinuity, we have no way to activate and deactivate. It has become one.” A partnership that does not fear boredom or habits, and that seems to work very well.
