The end of the year atmosphere is knocking on the door! This Monday (2), singer Mariah Carey announced her Christmas tour with 13 dates confirmed so far.
Titled “Merry Christmas One And All” (Feliz Nara Para Todos, in Portuguese), the shows will take place between November 15th and December 17th, with stops in Los Angeles, Montreal, Chicago and more.
“Yes, the real thaw has begun! Announcing the ‘Merry Christmas For All’ tour! Sales start on 10/06”, wrote the diva on social media.
Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Wednesday (4), at LiveNation.com.
According to an official statement from production company Live Nation Entertainment, the tour is a celebration of the artist’s timeless collection of holiday classics, including the record-breaking hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
Legacy of “All I Want for Christmas Is You”
The iconic single, released in 1994, became the first song to top the Billboard charts in four separate races. The first time was in 2018 and since then it has made its annual return.
In 2019, it was in first position for three weeks. In 2020, for two weeks and 2021, for another three weeks again.
The song is part of Mariah Carey’s Christmas album who, in 2011, re-recorded the hit alongside Justin Bieber for the singer’s album, “Under The Mistletoe”.
