Thousands of people demonstrated yesterday against Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitso, accusing him of authoritarian tendencies and a pro -Russian attitude. “The situation is critical,” speakers warned from Step at the point of demonstration in Bratislava. In Slovakia’s second largest city, Cozice, Defense Minister Robert Calivan was accused of “succumulating” in Russia. The protesters called on the government to resign. The demonstrations were organized by the Citizens’ Initiative “Mier Ukrajine” (Irene in Ukraine), which is in favor of weapons traditions in Ukraine. The government in Bratislava continues to help its neighboring country but only with “non -deadly” military species, such as equipment for derailment and generators. Following corresponding demonstrations in recent weeks, Fitso has already accused the organizers of disrupting “lies” and manipulating citizens, arguing that the government is thinking of leaving the EU and NATO.
