Massa: Voting takes place absolutely normally and I’m going to have a barbecue with the family

After voting late in the morning on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Sergio Massa said that the morning of the second round took place with “absolute normality”.

The candidate returned home, where he will have a barbecue with his family. In the afternoon, he goes to the campaign’s central committee.

“It is very important that, after so much that has been planted, the political forces are at the (voting) tables taking care of the votes of Argentines”, said the Peronist candidate after voting at Escola 34, in the municipality of Tigre.

Massa said that the second round is “extremely important” because it will define the path the country will take over the next four years. “May it be with the necessary dialogue and consensus so that our country can have a much more virtuous path”.

Asked about Argentina’s relations with other countries, the current Minister of Economy defended that “relations with all countries in the world are a sign of Argentina’s maturity and seriousness”. He also said that he wants the country to adopt “multipolarity and serious relationships with all countries”.

After voting, Sergio Massa stated that he would return to his residence, where he will reunite with his family.

“Normally, my mother makes lasagna on voting days. But today we are going to have a barbecue. Lasagnas are more for cold days. With the heat, I think it’s better to have a roast that will be made by my father,” she said. Buenos Aires has a sunny Sunday and 26 degrees Celsius.

Then, at 5:30 pm, you must go to the campaign center to follow the vote count.
