Held last week, the poll created to find out who should win the 11th season of MasterChef amateurs, showed that José Roberto is the public’s favorite to win. According to the partial, the cook would win with 54% of the public’s preference.
However, the final decision rests with the program’s chefs and judges, Érick Jacquin, Helena Rizzo and Henrique Fogaça. The two participants were chosen as the best dish in the semi-final and celebrated the result a lot.
“My heart is in my mouth, it hasn’t sunk in! I think it’s only in the kitchen, when that adrenaline kicks in, that I’ll realize it. This is the last edition of the amateur version in which Ana Paula Padrão is in charge of the program. She will also appear in the unprecedented MasterChef Confeitaria, which starts in November, and the contract with the broadcaster ends in December.
