Thirty-five people were killed and 43 injured when a car plowed into a crowd of people on Monday night in Zhuhai, a region in southern China, local police said today. Authorities had been talking since Monday of a car plowing into pedestrians in Zhuhai, but police said at the time that there were only injuries, and videos of the dramatic incident have since been pulled from social media. On Tuesday, police announced that a “serious and heinous attack” took place at the Zhuhai Sports Center, killing 35 people and injuring 43 others.
