After the end of his relationship with actress Mel Maia, funk singer MC Daniel opened his heart on the podcast “Pod Delas”, this Wednesday (30), and claimed not to have cheated on his ex-girlfriend.
On her Instagram profile, Mel Maia had already reinforced that she always had a friendly relationship with the singer, and that the two decided to keep that feeling.
“My relationship with Daniel came from a friendship. We love each other, we respect each other and we want the best for each other. And we decided together to preserve this very important feeling. We are no longer a couple, but we remain friends. […]”, wrote the artist on Tuesday (29).
During his interview on “Pod Delas”, MC Daniel was asked if the breakup happened because of treason, and he denied it.
“I am not capable of betraying anyone. I was raised in a way that for me is a lack of character. (…) A person who is capable of cheating and sleeps together is capable of cheating on anyone, ”she stated directly. “I learned a lot from my last relationship, it evolved a lot”, he added.
Finally, the funk singer took the opportunity to shoot at users who attack him on social networks.
“You who send me shades, I will never answer you, you will be fighting alone, posting shades alone. I’d rather talk about God, my work, being around people who are prosperous than sharing my energy with you. You guys are wasting a lot of time trying to tease me,” she finished.
Romance
The funk artist and the actress, who played Guiga in the soap opera “Vai na Fé”, on TV Globo, started dating in December last year. In June, the two broke up.
At the time, Mel shared two videos on TikTok with her followers in which she appears alongside her friends and her ex, reinforcing that she was single.
In July, the singer gave indications that they had resumed the romance. During a presentation in Rio de Janeiro, he made a statement at the end of the song “Revoada”, saying he was in a relationship with the actress. “Off for love, married to Mel Mel”, sang the MC.
Last Sunday (27), the MC celebrated its 25th birthday with a party in the presence of friends and family. In the videos shared by the singer, fans and Internet users were surprised by the absence of the actress and a congratulatory post.
