Meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, who is visiting Athens, will be held tomorrow, Monday, June 27, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias
The two ministers will have a private meeting at 13:05 and then extended talks will take place, according to a relevant announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Then, at 13:45, the two ministers will sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two Foreign Ministries on European Union issues. Immediately afterwards, joint statements will be made to the Press at 13:50, followed by a working lunch.
Talks between the two ministers are expected to focus on further strengthening bilateral relations, on issues of regional and international interest, with emphasis on current developments in the Caucasus, the situation in Ukraine after the Russian invasion, in the Eastern Mediterranean, cooperation between the two countries in framework of tripartite cooperation schemes, as well as in EU – Armenia relations.
