Valentine’s Day seemed to go by without any news, until Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their second pregnancy through the magazine People.
The news surprised everyone, because months ago Meghan shared in a column for him New York Times that in July 2020 she experienced one of the most difficult moments of her life when she lost her baby to a miscarriage.
The couple announced the news of the pregnancy with a beautiful black and white photograph, taken by their friend and photographer Misan Harriman.
In addition, the announcement was made on a very special date for Harry, as it is the 37th anniversary of when Princess Diana of Wales made it known that she was pregnant with Harry.
The new member of the family will be the fifth grandson of Prince Charles of England and possibly the first great-grandson of Queen Elizabeth II to be born outside of Great Britain. This is yet to be confirmed.
The next child of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be the 10th or 11th great-grandson of the Queen of England and the Duke of Edinburgh, depending on whether he arrives before or after the baby of Zara Tindall, daughter of Princess Anne, who will also be born in 2021.
