French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak this evening expressed messages of support to South Korea and its people after the deadly tragedy in the capital Seoul.
According to the last count at least 146 people lost their lives from trampling and overcrowding during Halloween celebrations in a central district of the capital Seoul, while 150 people have been injured.
Macron expressed his thoughts with the people of Seoul and all the people of South Korea. “France stands by you,” the French president said on Twitter, while Prime Minister Elizabeth Bourne expressed her “intense emotion.”
