Middle East: Israeli forces withdrew from Jenin, the Palestinian WAFA news agency reported

Israeli forces withdrew from Jenin in the occupied West Bank and the refugee camp located there after a ten-day episode of “brutal attack”, the Palestinian WAFA news agency reported today. Twenty-one people were killed in the city and the camp, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement. An eyewitness told Reuters that Israeli forces had left behind heavy damage to the city’s infrastructure. In a Facebook post, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry accused Israel of transferring to the occupied West Bank the violent destruction and devastation it has caused in the Gaza Strip, citing the situation in the cities of Jenin and Tulkarem, as well as the refugee camps located there.
