A missile attack on a cargo ship occurred on Saturday night, 8/6 off the coast of Yemen, the British marine insurance company Ambrey announced today, with no injuries reported. “An Antigua and Barbuda-flagged cargo ship was hit by a missile 83 nautical miles southeast of Aden (Yemen’s port s.),” says the relevant update. The missile attack caused a fire, which was quickly brought under control, it added. “Gunmen in small boats opened fire on the ship” during the attack, Ambrey noted, stressing that no injuries were reported. A “second missile” was fired, which did not hit the cargo ship.
