Xiaomi will introduce a new proprietary MIUI 13 skin this month, making various changes to MIUI 12.5. As we already reported, this week MIUI Launcher has been updated, and now the developers have changed the MIUI 12.5 logo.
Unlike the previously used transparent logo, the new logo is now white. Additional lines appeared around, as in the drawing. This clearly indicates that the logo is about to change to MIUI 13. MIUI 13 is expected to bring major changes from MIUI 12.5. First of all, the changes will affect the animation, new themes and sounds will be added. The pre-installed apps will also be improved. One of the most notable features will be the RAM expansion feature, which will allow the device to use a portion of the flash memory for this purpose.

The following devices have already received internal MIUI 13 test builds:
- Xiaomi Mi 11 Series
- Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G
- Xiaomi Mi 10S
- Xiaomi Mix 4
- Redmi K40
- Redmi K40 Pro and Pro +
While some devices get MIUI 13 based on Android 12, other devices can get MIUI 13 based on Android 11, such as Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12X.
The launch of the new UI is rumored to take place on December 16th alongside the Xiaomi 12 presentation.
