Moments of panic in a water park when an 11-year-old drowns

Moments of panic in a water park when an 11-year-old drowns

It all happened at Adventureland Water Amusement Park in Iowa, USA, a tragic incident that left an 11-year-old boy dead in coma his 16-year-old brother.

Michael Jaramillo was on the boat with his older brother David, younger Gus, father David, mother Sabrina and two other people.

The raft overturned and everyone was in the rushing water. David even had a birthday on Wednesday and they went to celebrate in the park, only the child ended up in the hospital in a coma.

A new video provided by Good Morning America shows parents screaming. The father tried to restore the boat, but could not as he suffered a broken shoulder.

“I was looking around for someone to help us… you could see the children’s hands… they were trying to reach us for help,” said the tragic father.

Everyone finally managed to get out of their seats, except for the two children. “I feel like Adventureland stole my baby. “I will never have the opportunity to see him grow up,” said the mother.

The park insists its toys are safe, saying they were inspected the day before the tragic accident.

This game has been in operation for almost 4 decades, “it is a safe game, it was inspected by the state of Iowa the day before,” said the park’s lawyer, Guy R. Cook.

In 2016, however, a 68-year-old park employee lost his life trying to save people who had fallen into the water from the same game.

The park and the game are functioning normally despite the incident. The autopsy showed that the 11-year-old died from a head injury.
