The Aquarius Group and Kaspersky Lab have created a secure smartphone, which is intended, among other things, for the military and special services. “Aquarius” smartphone is called a pocket personal computer (PDA). A pilot batch of 3,000 devices will be shipped this year. No smartphone images yet.
We released the first trial batch of 200 devices based on the Kaspersky Lab operating system (KasperskyOS). By the end of the year there will be another 3 thousand devices. The device is “specially protected” and is intended primarily for military and intelligence services. We position the PDA as a device for accessing corporate services through applications in a protected mode. One of its elements is IP connections, which are protected by special software.

More than 1 billion rubles were spent on development. “Aquarius” expects that the smartphone will be ordered by state-owned companies and officials. Details about the hardware stuffing are not reported, but it is stated that the device is “completely Russian”.
In addition to devices based on KasperskyOS, Aquarius also plans to release smartphones based on Aurora and Android.
