More than 1 million students from São Paulo’s municipal schools return to school this Monday (25th), after the school break from July 11th to 22nd.
According to the São Paulo City Hall, the school units must rely on the work of the 3,600 Guardian Mothers, who help in carrying out the sanitary protocols within the schools of the Municipal Network.
School lunch continues to be served in all schools. Until last Friday (22), the City of São Paulo served, for the first time, during the recess, meals to children and teenagers from 4 to 14 years old who participated in the Recreio nas Férias program.
During the school holidays, food was served at the 52 centers that hosted the 40th edition of the program. According to the school calendar, released by the São Paulo Municipal Department of Education, the school year started on February 7 and runs until December 22 of this year.
City of SP begins application of the 4th dose of the Covid vaccine in people over 30 years old
The city of São Paulo starts this Monday (25) the application of the second additional vaccine against Covid-19 for the population over 30 years old. The immunizer will be available to those who took their first booster dose at least four months ago.
The population in this age group is 960,036 in the capital. According to the Municipal Health Department (SMS), approximately 514,689 people are eligible to receive the doses.
All 470 Basic Health Units (UBSs) will be open, in addition to three Health Centers (HCs), 17 Specialized Care Services (SAEs) and two megaposts during the day.
