More than half of the Americans, including one in 4 Republicans, believe that President Donald Trump is “closely aligned” with Russia, radically redesigning American foreign policy, a Reuters/Ipsos poll showed. The poll, which lasted two days and ended on Wednesday, also shows that Americans are not interested in Trump’s expansive agenda, while the US president talks about the acquisition of Greenland, Canada and the Panama Canal. 56% of respondents, including 89% of Democrats and 27% of Republicans, agree with the statement that Trump is very close to Moscow.
