Moscow claims to have shot down a Ukrainian missile in Crimea and drones in Bryansk

Its Russian-appointed governor CrimeaSergei Aksyonov, announced tonight that a cruise missile had been shot down on the peninsula annexed by Moscow in 2014.

A few minutes earlier, the governor of Bryansk region, in southern Russia, announced that two Ukrainian unmanned, remotely piloted aircraft were shot down in this area.

“Anti-aircraft forces of the Ministry of Defense of Russia prevented an attack by Ukrainian terrorists” Governor Alexander Bogomaz wrote on Telegram according to the Athens News Agency. “Two drones were shot down in the Bryansk region. There are no casualties or damage.”
